Martyred is concerned with the disillusionment, apathy, and nihilism that characterises contemporary life. It is not a performance that happens in the club, but something that happens to the club. Not something to be watched, but something that gradually unfolds within the architecture and the crowd – a living painting that satirises the archetypes circulating through cultural spaces, institutions, and contemporary society.
